[Job Description]

  • Build, ​operate, ​back ​up, and ​recover DBMS systems.
  • Design and ​implement ​high-availability solutions.
  • Optimize ​DBMS performance and ​manage schemas.
  • Monitor ​performance ​and respond ​to ​issues.
  • Manage ​RDBMS technologies: Oracle/Tibero, ​MySQL/MariaDB, ​PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DB2.
  • Manage ​NoSQL ​technologies: ​MongoDB, Redis.


[Minimum Qualifications]

  • Have ​at least ​5 ​years of ​DBA experience:
  • 3 ​years ​of experience as ​MySQL/PostgreSQL DBA ​or,
  • 3 years of experience as MSSQL DBA or,
  • 3 years of experience as DB2 DBA.
  • Have experience in SQL diagnosis and optimizing DBMS performance.
  • Have experience developing automation/efficiency solutions using Python or Bash.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.


[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Experience managing at least two of the following databases: Oracle/Tibero, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Redis.
  • Understanding and experience with AWS Cloud environments.
  • Experience migrating from Oracle/Tibero DB to Open Source DBMS.
  • A strong inquisitive nature towards database technologies.
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
