[Job Description]
- Build, operate, back up, and recover DBMS systems.
- Design and implement high-availability solutions.
- Optimize DBMS performance and manage schemas.
- Monitor performance and respond to issues.
- Manage RDBMS technologies: Oracle/Tibero, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DB2.
- Manage NoSQL technologies: MongoDB, Redis.
[Minimum Qualifications]
- Have at least 5 years of DBA experience:
- 3 years of experience as MySQL/PostgreSQL DBA or,
- 3 years of experience as MSSQL DBA or,
- 3 years of experience as DB2 DBA.
- Have experience in SQL diagnosis and optimizing DBMS performance.
- Have experience developing automation/efficiency solutions using Python or Bash.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
[Preferred Qualifications]
- Experience managing at least two of the following databases: Oracle/Tibero, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Understanding and experience with AWS Cloud environments.
- Experience migrating from Oracle/Tibero DB to Open Source DBMS.
- A strong inquisitive nature towards database technologies.
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
