In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Hyundai AutoEver has established and publicly disclosed the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to facilitate the prompt and smooth handling of any related grievances.

Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information, Items of Personal Information, and Retention Period)
1. Hyundai AutoEver processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information collected will not be used for any purpose other than those stated below. If the purposes of use change, Hyundai AutoEver will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent, in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.Additionally, personal information will be processed and retained only within the period authorized by law or within the retention and use period agreed upon at the time of collection from the data subject.1) Purposes of Processing Personal Information
2) Items of Personal Information Processed- Required Items: basic information (name, email address, mobile number, emergency contact, gender, date of birth, English name, address, nationality, application source, current salary, expected salary), military service information (discharge status, military type, enlistment date, discharge date, division, military specialty, rank, exemption reason), educational background (education level, admission date, graduation date, graduation status, college name, GPA, major, academic transcript), employment history (previous employer, date of joining, date of leaving, reason for leaving, job description, department, position, employment type, salary, revenue of employer, number of employees), computer skills (skill category, program name, proficiency level, duration of use), cover letter, competency statement- Optional Items : basic information (photograph, desired position level, referrer, personal website URL), disability/veterans status (veteran status, type of veteran status, relationship to veteran, veteran ID, bonus percentage, disability status, type of disability, degree of disability, vulnerable group status, vulnerable group type), educational background (academic advisor and research lab, thesis details), career information (career summary, portfolio), project information (project name, client, workplace, start date, end date, contribution level, role in project), language proficiency (language test name, score/grade, testing institution, test date), certifications (certification name, issuing authority, date of acquisition, certification number), overseas experience (country, start date, end date, reason for experience), awards (award name, awarding institution, award date, award details), training (training name, start date, end date, training institution, training details)3) Period of Processing and Retaining Personal Information- Personal information will be retained for 3 years from the final submission date of the job application (however, it will be immediately destroyed upon the data subject’s request for deletion)
Article 2 (Destruction of Personal Information)
1. Hyundai AutoEver will promptly destroy personal information when it is no longer necessary, such as upon the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the purpose of processing.
2. In cases where the retention period agreed upon by the data subject has expired or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled, but personal information must still be preserved due to internal policies or reasons under other legal provisions (refer to retention and use period), the company will store the personal information separately by transferring it to a separate database (DB) or storing it in a different location (in the case of paper, a separate file cabinet). Personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than the one for which it is retained, unless otherwise required by law.
3. The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:
- Destruction Procedure: Hyundai AutoEver selects the personal information subject to destruction and proceeds with destruction with the approval of the company’s personal information protection officer.
- Destruction Method: Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format on Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website will be destroyed in a way that prevents its recovery. Personal information recorded and stored in paper documents will be destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 3 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
1. To ensure smooth processing of personal information tasks, Hyundai AutoEver entrusts personal information processing tasks as follows.
1) Operation of Recruitment Website and Computer System

- Scope of Entrusted Task: Maintenance of the recruitment website and system
2) Operation of Pre-Employment Health Screenings
- Entrusted Party (Trustee): KMI 한국의학연구소(Korea Medical Institute)
- Scope of Entrusted Task: Operation of health screenings for job applicants
3) Operation of HMAT (Aptitude Test)
- Entrusted Party (Trustee): 한국행동과학연구소(Korea Institute for Research in the Behavioral Sciences, KIRBS)
- Scope of Entrusted Task: Operation of aptitude tests for job applicants
4) Operation of Coding Tests
- Entrusted Party (Trustee): 그렙(Grepp Inc.) / 현대엔지비(Hyundai NGV Inc.)
- Scope of Entrusted Task: : Operation of coding tests for job applicants
5) Operation of SPA (Language Proficiency Test)
- Entrusted Party (Trustee): SPA한국위원회(S.P.A. Committee, Korea)
- Scope of Entrusted Task:: Operation of language proficiency tests for job applicants
6) Delivery of Welcome Gifts for New Employees
- Entrusted Party (Trustee): 베어베터(BEAR.BETTER COMPANY.) / NHR(NHR)
- Scope of Entrusted Task: Delivery of welcome gifts for new employees
2. When entering into entrustment contracts, Hyundai AutoEver specifies, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the prohibition of personal information processing outside the scope of the entrusted tasks, technical and administrative protection measures, limits on sub-entrustment, management and supervision of trustees, liability for damages, and other responsibilities in contract documents, and monitors the trustees to ensure they handle personal information securely.
3. In the event of any changes to the content of the entrusted tasks or trustees, the company will promptly disclose such changes through this Privacy Policy.
4. If a temporary trustee is added to facilitate the smooth processing of personal information, Hyundai AutoEver will notify the relevant individuals of this addition. When entering into the entrustment contract, Hyundai AutoEver will specify, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the prohibition of personal information processing outside the scope of the entrusted tasks, technical and administrative protection measures, limits on sub-entrustment, management and supervision of trustees, liability for damages, and other responsibilities in contract documents, and will monitor the trustees to ensure they handle personal information securely.
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
1. Hyundai AutoEver processes the personal information of data subjects only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information, Items of Personal Information, and Retention Period). Personal information is provided to third parties only in cases that fall under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as when obtaining consent from the data subject or when special provisions exist in other statutes
2. Hyundai AutoEver provides personal information to third parties as follows:
1) Credential Verification Agencies
- Recipients of Personal Information: Korea TOEIC Committee, The TEPS Council, Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Multicampus, and other credential verification agencies including HSK
- Purpose of Use by Recipients: Verification of credentials
- Items of Personal Information Provided : Name, date of birth, exam registration number, or unique credential number
- Retention and Use Period by Recipients : Information will be destroyed without delay upon completion of credential verification
2) Applicant’s University Information
- Purpose of Use by Recipient: Verification of educational background
- Items of Personal Information Provided : Name, date of birth, university name, major, degree
- Retention and Use Period by Recipient : Information will be destroyed without delay upon completion of educational background verification
Article 5 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)
1. Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website implements the following technical measures to ensure the security of your personal information and prevent its loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage.
1) Technical Measures
- Your personal information is protected by a password, and critical data is safeguarded through separate security features by encrypting files and transmission data, or using a file lock function.
- Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website employs security devices (such as SSL or SET) using encryption algorithms to securely transmit personal information over the network.
- Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website takes preventive measures against damage caused by computer viruses through the use of antivirus programs. These programs are regularly updated, and in the event of a sudden virus outbreak, the antivirus program is provided immediately upon release to prevent any infringement of personal information.
- To prevent personal information leaks due to hacking, Hyundai AutoEver uses intrusion prevention devices to block external intrusions. Each server is equipped with an intrusion detection system to monitor intrusions 24 hours a day.
2) Administrative Measures
- To securely manage personal information, the company has established and operates an internal personal information management system.
- A committee dedicated to the protection of personal information is formed, holding regular to discuss and actively work on improvements and corrections related to the operation of the personal information management system and issues concerning personal information protection.
- Employees who handle personal information are required to submit a confidentiality agreement and undergo personal information protection training to ensure secure management. Additionally, the company controls access rights for personal information handlers to minimize unnecessary access to and exposure of customers’ personal information.
Article 6 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Data Collection Devices)
1. Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website uses ‘cookies’ to store and retrieve usage information to provide customized services for users.
2. A cookie is a small piece of data sent by the server (http) used to operate the website to the user’s computer browser, and it may be stored on the hard drive of the user’s PC.
1) Purpose of Using Cookies: Cookies support a faster web environment for users and are used to improve services for convenient use.
2) Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Cookies: You have the option to allow or refuse the installation of cookies. In your web browser (based on Internet Explorer), you can select [Tools] > [Internet Options] > [Security] > [Custom Level] to either allow all cookies, be prompted to confirm each time a cookie is saved, or refuse all cookies.
3) If you refuse the storage of cookies, you may experience difficulties using some services that require login.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Methods of Exercise)
1. Applicants have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal information submitted to the company by the application submission deadline. However, after this period, these rights may be restricted to ensure the fairness of the recruitment process and the smooth progress of screening procedures, and the information will be retained for the period specified in Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information, Items of Personal Information, and Retention Period).
2. Applicants may exercise these rights online by accessing My Page on the Hyundai AutoEver recruitment website after completing identity verification procedures. Alternatively, they may contact the company’s personal information protection officer or responsible personnel in writing, by phone, or via email, and the company will take prompt action in response.
3. The rights to request access to personal information and to request the suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
4. Requests for correction and deletion of personal information are not permitted if the information is specified as a required item for collection under other laws.
5. The company verifies the identity of the requester when a request is made for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing in accordance with the rights of data subjects.

2. For any inquiries, complaints, or remedies regarding personal information protection arising from your use of Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website services (or business), you may contact the personal information protection officer or the relevant department. Hyundai AutoEver will respond to and handle your inquiries without delay.
3. Emails sent regarding matters unrelated to personal information protection, complaints, or remedies may not be answered or processed. Additionally, unsolicited commercial emails sent for advertising purposes without the consent of the recipient may be reported to the relevant authorities in accordance with Articles 50 to 50-8 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
Article 10 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
1. This Privacy Policy takes effect on September 10, 2024. (Version No.: v9.0)
2. If Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website modifies this Privacy Policy, the reasons for and details of the changes will be announced in advance on the notice section of the website’s homepage or through a separate pop-up window, before such changes are applied.
