In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Hyundai AutoEver has established and publicly disclosed the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to facilitate the prompt and smooth handling of any related grievances.

3) Retention and Period of Personal Information
Job applications will be retained for three (3) years from the date of final submission.
However, if the data subject requests deletion, the information will be destroyed without delay.
Article 2 (Destruction of Personal Information)
1. Hyundai AutoEver will promptly destroy personal information when it is no longer necessary, such as upon the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the purpose of processing.
2. In cases where the retention period agreed upon by the data subject has expired or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled, but personal information must still be preserved due to internal policies or reasons under other legal provisions (refer to retention and use period), the company will store the personal information separately by transferring it to a separate database (DB) or storing it in a different location (in the case of paper, a separate file cabinet). Personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any purpose other than the one for which it is retained, unless otherwise required by law.
3. The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:
- Destruction Procedure: Hyundai AutoEver selects the personal information subject to destruction and proceeds with destruction with the approval of the company’s personal information protection officer.
- Destruction Method: Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format on Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website will be destroyed in a way that prevents its recovery. Personal information recorded and stored in paper documents will be destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Article 3 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
Hyundai AutoEver outsources certain personal information processing tasks to ensure smooth operations, as follows:

In accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Hyundai AutoEver specifies in contracts that contractors must not process personal information beyond the intended purpose, must implement technical and administrative safeguards, are restricted from re-outsourcing, are subject to management and supervision, and are liable for damages. Hyundai AutoEver supervises contractors to ensure safe handling of personal information.
If there are any changes to the details of the outsourced tasks or the contractors, Hyundai AutoEver will disclose such changes without delay through this Privacy Policy.
If additional contractors are temporarily engaged for smooth personal information processing, Hyundai AutoEver will notify the affected individuals and, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, will include in contracts the prohibition of processing beyond intended purposes, safeguards, re-outsourcing restrictions, contractor management and supervision, and liability for damages, ensuring that personal information is processed safely.
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
1. Hyundai AutoEver processes the personal information of data subjects only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information, Items of Personal Information, and Retention Period). Personal information is provided to third parties only in cases that fall under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as when obtaining consent from the data subject or when special provisions exist in other statutes
2. Hyundai AutoEver provides personal information to third parties as follows:
1) Credential Verification Agencies
- Recipients of Personal Information: Korea TOEIC Committee, The TEPS Council, Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Multicampus, and other credential verification agencies including HSK
- Purpose of Use by Recipients: Verification of credentials
- Items of Personal Information Provided : Name, date of birth, exam registration number, or unique credential number
- Retention and Use Period by Recipients : Information will be destroyed without delay upon completion of credential verification
2) Applicant’s University Information
- Purpose of Use by Recipient: Verification of educational background
- Items of Personal Information Provided : Name, date of birth, university name, major, degree
- Retention and Use Period by Recipient : Information will be destroyed without delay upon completion of educational background verification
Article 5 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)
1. Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website implements the following technical measures to ensure the security of your personal information and prevent its loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage.
1) Technical Measures
- Your personal information is protected by a password, and critical data is safeguarded through separate security features by encrypting files and transmission data, or using a file lock function.
- Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website employs security devices (such as SSL or SET) using encryption algorithms to securely transmit personal information over the network.
- Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website takes preventive measures against damage caused by computer viruses through the use of antivirus programs. These programs are regularly updated, and in the event of a sudden virus outbreak, the antivirus program is provided immediately upon release to prevent any infringement of personal information.
- To prevent personal information leaks due to hacking, Hyundai AutoEver uses intrusion prevention devices to block external intrusions. Each server is equipped with an intrusion detection system to monitor intrusions 24 hours a day.
2) Administrative Measures
- To securely manage personal information, the company has established and operates an internal personal information management system.
- A committee dedicated to the protection of personal information is formed, holding regular to discuss and actively work on improvements and corrections related to the operation of the personal information management system and issues concerning personal information protection.
- Employees who handle personal information are required to submit a confidentiality agreement and undergo personal information protection training to ensure secure management. Additionally, the company controls access rights for personal information handlers to minimize unnecessary access to and exposure of customers’ personal information.
Article 6 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Data Collection Devices)
1. Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website uses ‘cookies’ to store and retrieve usage information to provide customized services for users.
2. A cookie is a small piece of data sent by the server (http) used to operate the website to the user’s computer browser, and it may be stored on the hard drive of the user’s PC.
1) Purpose of Using Cookies: Cookies support a faster web environment for users and are used to improve services for convenient use.
2) Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Cookies: You have the option to allow or refuse the installation of cookies. In your web browser (based on Internet Explorer), you can select [Tools] > [Internet Options] > [Security] > [Custom Level] to either allow all cookies, be prompted to confirm each time a cookie is saved, or refuse all cookies.
3) If you refuse the storage of cookies, you may experience difficulties using some services that require login.
Article 7 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Methods of Exercise)
1. Applicants have the right to access, correct, and delete their personal information submitted to the company by the application submission deadline. However, after this period, these rights may be restricted to ensure the fairness of the recruitment process and the smooth progress of screening procedures, and the information will be retained for the period specified in Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information, Items of Personal Information, and Retention Period).
2. Applicants may exercise these rights online by accessing My Page on the Hyundai AutoEver recruitment website after completing identity verification procedures. Alternatively, they may contact the company’s personal information protection officer or responsible personnel in writing, by phone, or via email, and the company will take prompt action in response.
3. The rights to request access to personal information and to request the suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
4. Requests for correction and deletion of personal information are not permitted if the information is specified as a required item for collection under other laws.
5. The company verifies the identity of the requester when a request is made for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing in accordance with the rights of data subjects.
Article 8 (Remedies for Infringement of Rights)
You may contact the following organizations for remedies and consultations related to personal information infringement. These organizations are independent from Hyundai AutoEver. 2. For any inquiries, complaints, or remedies regarding personal information protection arising from your use of Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website services (or business), you may contact the personal information protection officer or the relevant department. Hyundai AutoEver will respond to and handle your inquiries without delay.
3. Emails sent regarding matters unrelated to personal information protection, complaints, or remedies may not be answered or processed. Additionally, unsolicited commercial emails sent for advertising purposes without the consent of the recipient may be reported to the relevant authorities in accordance with Articles 50 to 50-8 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
Article 10 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
1. This Privacy Policy takes effect on August 26, 2025. (Version No.: v9.4)
2. If Hyundai AutoEver’s recruitment website modifies this Privacy Policy, the reasons for and details of the changes will be announced in advance on the notice section of the website’s homepage or through a separate pop-up window, before such changes are applied.
