In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Hyundai AutoEver has established and publicly disclosed the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to facilitate the prompt and smooth handling of any related grievances.

Article 1 (Purpose, Items, and Retention Period of Personal Information Processing)

1. Purpose of Personal Information ProcessingHyundai Autoever processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information collected is not used for purposes other than those stated below. If usage purposes change, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be implemented in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

1) Membership Registration

  • Recruitment-related guidance and announcements
  • Responding to service use inquiries
  • Applicant identification, recruitment process execution, result notifications

2. Items of Personal Information ProcessedHyundai Autoever processes the following items with the consent of the data subject.

  • Legal basis: Article 15 (1) (1) of the Personal Information Protection Act (consent of data subject)

3. Retention Period of Personal InformationHyundai Autoever processes and retains personal information within the storage and usage period obtained through laws or agreed to by the data subject at the time of collection.

  1) Membership Registration

  • Job application form is stored for 3 years from the final submission date (but will be destroyed promptly upon a deletion request by the data subject)

  • Job application is stored for 3 years from the final submission date (but will be destroyed promptly upon a deletion request by the data subject)

Article 2 (Destruction of Personal Information)

1. Hyundai Autoever destroys personal information without delay when the retention period has elapsed, the purpose of processing is achieved, etc., and the personal information has become unnecessary.

2. If retention is required due to internal policy or other laws even after the agreed retention period has elapsed or the processing purpose has been achieved, the personal information is moved to a separate database (DB) or kept in a different storage location (for paper records, stored in a separate file cabinet). Personal information moved to a separate DB will not be used for other purposes except as required by law.

3. Procedures and methods for destroying personal information:

  • Destruction procedure: Hyundai Autoever selects the personal information for destruction when the destruction criteria are met and obtains approval from the Personal Information Protection Officer before destruction.
  • Destruction method: Electronically stored files are destroyed so they cannot be recovered; paper documents are shredded or incinerated.

Article 3 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

  1. Hyundai Autoever outsources personal information processing for efficient operations as follows:

2. Hyundai Autoever stipulates, in contracts and documents, prohibition of processing personal information for purposes other than outsourcing work, technical and managerial safeguards, restrictions on re-outsourcing, management and supervision of contractors, compensation for damages, etc., and supervises the safe processing of personal information by contractors.

3. In accordance with Article 26(6) of the Personal Information Protection Act, contractors must obtain Hyundai Autoever’s consent to re-outsource personal information processing tasks.

4. If there is any change to service details or contractors, Hyundai Autoever will promptly disclose such changes via the privacy policy.

5. Hyundai Autoever will, in cases where temporary contractors are added, notify concerned parties and stipulate, in contracts, the prohibition of personal information processing for purposes other than outsourcing work, technical and managerial safeguards, restrictions on re-outsourcing, management and supervision of contractors, compensation for damages, etc., and supervise the safe processing of personal information.

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

  1. Hyundai Autoever only provides personal information to third parties within the scope of Article 1 (Purpose, Items, and Retention Period of Personal Information Processing) and only in cases specified by law, with data subject consent, or special statutory provisions (Articles 17 and 18 of Personal Information Protection Act).
  2. Hyundai Autoever provides personal information to third parties as follows, with the consent of the data subject pursuant to Article 17(1)(1) of the Personal Information Protection Act:

  1) Qualification verification institutions

   - Recipients: Korea TOEIC Committee, TEPS Management Committee, HRD Korea, Chamber of Commerce, Multicampus, HSK, etc. (Language/qualification verification institutions)

   - Purpose of use: Qualification verification

   - Items provided: Name, date of birth, test number or certificate number

  - Retention/use period: Destroyed immediately upon achievement of verification purpose

  2) Applicant’s alma mater

   - Recipient: Applicant’s alumni university

   - Purpose of use: Education verification

   - Items provided: Name, date of birth, university name, major, degree

- Retention/use period: Destroyed immediately upon achievement of verification purpose


3. In the following cases, personal information may be provided without the consent of the data subject:

  • Compliance with statutory requirements, public institution duties, urgent need for life/physical/property interests, legitimate interests of processor, urgent public health or safety needs
    ※ Note: Even in administrative or investigative requests, personal information will only be provided after verifying statutory requirements (e.g., written request with warrant or official seal).

Article 5 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)

Hyundai Autoever implements the following security measures for personal information:


  1. Administrative measures: Internal management planning and implementation, regular staff training, operation of dedicated personal information protection team
  2. Technical measures: Access rights management, access control systems, encryption of unique identifiers, installation of security software
  3. Physical measures: Access control to computer rooms and archives
  4. Additional Protection Efforts:
    1) Hyundai Autoever strives to take additional protective measures beyond those required by the Personal Information Protection Act.
    2) Hyundai Autoever has obtained international personal information protection certifications:
       - ISO27001 (International Information Security Management System Certification)
       - ISO27017 (International Standard for Cloud Service Security and Personal Information Protection)
       - TISAX (Global Information Security Certification for Mobility)
    3) Hyundai Autoever has formed collaborations among departments to share information related to personal information.
    4) Hyundai Autoever conducts company-wide campaigns for personal information protection more than twice a year, and monthly “Security Day” activities to encourage encryption and spread the culture of personal information protection.

Article 6 (Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices)

1. Hyundai Autoever uses “cookies” to store and frequently retrieve usage information in order to provide personalized services.

2. Cookies are small pieces of data sent from the server (http) of the website to the user’s browser and stored on the user’s computer or mobile device, automatically sent to the server when connecting to the website.

  1) Purpose: Cookies are used to verify the access route of data subjects, i.e., to check through which recruitment platform the user accessed Hyundai Autoever’s recruitment system.

  2) Cookie permission/blocking methods:
   - On desktop browsers:
   - Chrome: Click “⋮” (top right) > New Incognito Window (Ctrl+Shift+N)
   - Edge: Click “…” (top right) > New InPrivate Window (Ctrl+Shift+N)

   - On mobile browsers:
   - Chrome: Tap “⋮” (top right) > New Incognito Tab
   - Safari: Device Settings > Safari > Block All Cookies
   - Samsung Internet: Tap “Tabs” (bottom) > Turn on secret mode > Start

  3) Refusal of cookie storage may make it difficult to use some login-required services.

3. Hyundai Autoever uses automatic collection devices to process behavioral information in a way that does not identify individuals, exclusively for the purpose of verifying access routes during service use.

4. Hyundai AutoEver collects only the minimum behavioral information necessary to identify the access route of the data subject, and does not collect sensitive behavioral information that may infringe on the rights, interests, or privacy of individuals, such as ideologies, beliefs, or medical history.

Article 7 (Rights, Obligations, and Exercise Methods of Data Subjects)

1. Until the deadline for submitting an application, applicants may exercise the right to access, correct, delete, suspend processing, or withdraw consent for their personal information. After this period, to ensure fairness and continuity of the recruitment process, these rights may be restricted and data retained as per the periods notified in Article 1.

2. These rights may be exercised online via Hyundai Autoever’s recruitment homepage (after identity verification, via My Page), or by contacting the Personal Information Protection Officer or department in charge via writing, phone, or email.

3. The right to access or suspend processing may be restricted as per Article 35(4) and Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

4. The request for correction or deletion cannot be made if the personal information is required by another law.

5. Hyundai Autoever verifies the identity of anyone requesting access, correction, deletion, suspension, or withdrawal of consent.

1. Hyundai Autoever designates the following person as the Personal Information Protection Officer, who takes overall responsibility for personal information processing, complaint handling, and mitigation of harm.

2. Data subjects can contact Hyundai Autoever for all issues related to personal information protection, complaints, or harm while using the recruitment homepage services. Hyundai Autoever will promptly respond and handle such inquiries.

3. Non-personal information protection and complaint emails may not be answered or processed, and sending unsolicited commercial emails without the recipient’s consent may result in reporting under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (Articles 50 to 50-8).

Article 10 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

1. This privacy policy is effective as of September 29, 2025 (Version: v9.5).

2. If the privacy policy is amended, Hyundai Autoever will announce the reason and content of the changes on the homepage or via a separate window prior to effective application.
